An enabling environment for the realization, respect, and protection of fundamental human rights among youth and develop their leadership qualities to make them active contributors within the society.

A sustainable strategy is devised to achieve the maximum, a need based and right based approach initiated ascertains the problem with fully community involvement and mobilizing all indigenous and local resources. The program goal are materialized with a helping hand from members, donor agencies, Philanthropists.
The Foundation's Journey
Jabungu Foundation (JF) is a registered, independent, non-governmental and non-profit civil society organization based in Meru, Arusha. Founded on the principle of empowering marginalized and underserved communities, JF is dedicated to capacity building and the delivery of essential services.
Established in 2021 by a group of educated, dynamic, and like-minded youth from the development sector, JF was created in response to the urgent and pressing needs facing communities across Tanzania. The founders, with their deep understanding of national development challenges, envisioned an inclusive organization not confined by geography or sector.
JF operates across various districts in Tanzania, implementing a broad range of interventions in sectors such as education, healthcare and hygiene, youth and women empowerment, environmental conservation as well as sports and talent development. Its programs focus particularly on the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
The foundation’s approach combines grassroots engagement with active community participation. It emphasizes local involvement in all its initiatives and places a strong focus on mobilizing women to foster peace, tolerance, and sustainable development.
