What is Jabungu foundation ?
Jabungu Foundation (JF) is an independent, registered non-government and nonprofit civil society organization based at Meru-Arusha. JF’s prime motto drives capacity building and service delivery to the society’s deprived and marginalized people.
In 2020, a group of educated, dynamic, and like-minded youth working in the development sector established an organization. They aimed to address the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Tanzania. True to this spirit, they named the organization Jabungu Foundation (JF).

The mission of JF is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society

An enabling environment for the realization, respect, and protection of fundamental human rights among youth and develop their leadership qualities to make them active contributor within the society
Strategy
A sustainable strategy is devised to achieve the maximum, a need based and right based approach initiated ascertains the problem with fully community involvement and mobilizing all indigenous and local resources.

Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives Across Tanzania through Jabungu
Jabungu Foundation creates lasting change across Tanzania through four key programs. First, our Education Program provides vulnerable youth with quality learning to build brighter futures. Next, the Health Program delivers essential medical services to remote villages like Sarame, improving community well-being. Additionally, our Women & Youth Empowerment initiative actively promotes local leadership, entrepreneurship, and socio-economic growth. Finally, the Agriculture Development Program focuses on sustainable farming and environmental conservation to enhance food security. Ultimately, these combined initiatives foster inclusive, community-driven development.
